TNPSC Exams 2019 Details:

TNPSC Exams for Chemist/Junior Chemist:

• A First or Second Class Degree in M.Sc., in Chemistry (OR)
• Chemical Technology (OR)
• Industrial Chemistry (OR)
• An Associateship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India).

• Must possess a First or Second Class Post Graduate Degree in any Branch of Chemistry of any university or institution recognized by the UGC. (OR)
• An Associateship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India).

• For SCs, SC(A)s, STs/MBCs/DCs/BC/BCMs & Destitute Widows of all Castes: No Age limit
• For ‘Others’: Below 30 Years (Should not have completed)

• For Differently Abled Persons: up to 10 years over.
• Others as per Govt Policy

• Chemist – 1 Post
• Junior Chemist – 1 Post

TNPSC Exams Chemist – Selection process:

• Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test in the form of an interview.
• Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together.

• Paper-I (Subject Paper): Chemistry (Post Graduate Degree standard) – 200 Questions
• Paper-II (General Studies): General Studies (Degree Standard) – 75 Questions and Aptitude and Mental Ability (SSLC Standard) – 25 Questions
• The questions in Paper – I and Paper – II will be set both in English and Tamil.

• SCs, SC(A)s and STs/MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs – 171 Marks
• For Others – 228 Marks

TNPSC Exams Accounts Officer – Selection process:

TNPSC Exams Curator – Selection process:

• Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the applicants at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together.

• Paper – I (Subject Paper) (P.G. Degree Standard): Anyone of the following subjects, in which the candidate acquired the qualification. (i) Geology (ii) Botany (iii) Zoology (iv) Anthropology (v) Ancient History and Archaeology (vi) History (vii) Sanskrit – 200 Qns.
• Paper-II (General Studies): General Studies (Degree Standard) – 75 Questions and Aptitude and Mental Ability (SSLC Standard) – 25 Questions
• The Question Paper in Paper-I for the subjects Botany, Zoology & History and Paper-II will be set in both English and Tamil. • Must have an overall first class or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) in
